    The W isn't ideally located - it's in the SOMA area which is sketchy in some areas, thought the area around the hotel is decent (right next to the Moscone Center and the Sony Metreon complex). Got a corner room with my starwood platinum status. The room was very spacious and had excellent views. The bathroom was also very big, extremely modern, and bright. There was a fax machine in the room and a nice CD player. The bed was a Heavenly Bed--super comfortable.

    Great hotel. One of the newer ones. Located south of market though which isn't ideal. Their bar, XYZ, is pretty popular though, always packed. Rooms are a bit on the small side here.
