    Stayed at the hotel during July 4th 2005 holiday weekend. This was my second time using The Westin Horton Plaza hotel. The room was nice and cozy. The pool is on the third floor - a bit small but they have a whirlpool. The hotel is in an ideal location - Gaslamp district - many nice dinning places within walking distance from the hotel. The only two major drawbacks are: 1) you'll need a car to the beach and La Jolla; 2)you'll have to pay $25.00 for parking at the hotel. I'll use The Westin Horton again when I come back to San Diego. (P.S. Don't use the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina - I've been there. Wished could have stayed at The Westin.)
