The entrance to the Waldorf Towers is a bit secluded and more private than the Astoria rooms. The Waldorf Towers rooms start from the 28th floor and up. They are generally larger than the rooms in the Astoria section as they are geared for guests with longer stays, who are looking for more of an apartment-style room. I heard some people live there permanently. The most basic rooms in the Towers are called king deluxes, but there are two kinds of king deluxes – one that looks like a standard room and one that is like a suite. Of course they charge you more for the suite style room.
