    This hotel is old and stuffy. The king standard room was rather small and lack freshness. Beddings and carpeting looked pretty run-down. Bathroom was quite small but nice. From the outside you would never know what a grand hotel this was once considered to be. The exterior is blackened from soot/smoke. The upkeep could be much better.

    This hotel has really deteriorated. I stayed here as a child and remember there being such a great aura about the hotel. The standard rooms are very small, but because the Waldorf was so famous, it didn't matter. I went back recently and thought the place was a dump. No aura whatsoever. The lobby looks old and dingy and the rooms are still small, but much older and now stale. Would not recommend it.
