    Depending upon demand, at the hotel and the time of the year you can pay $395 or $799 plus tax for the same room. The standard rooms are not large, but they are clean and comfortable. Out of season, this is good value, in season, find somewhere else.

    Checked into the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park and was upgraded to a city view suite. The room was lovely and had Bulgari bath amenties, two TVs, a guest powder room, a separate master bathroom with a soaking tub and separate steam shower, double sinks, and toilet in a small little room. Two robes, lots of fluffy towels, and a full size hair dryer. The fitness center is located on the 14 floor with beautiful harbor views. At 6pm the fitness was practically deserted but the attendant was busy working rather than being content sitting behind a desk. I commented that it was a little warm in the fitness center and she said she would call maintenance. After calling she brought over a chilled bottle of water. There were plenty of room temp bottles of water, towels and headsets out but she went the extra mile to bring me a cold one. Ordered a club sandwich from room service and it was brought up in record time. Overall I am very happy with my stay and look forward to many more.
