great hotel in chicago. right up there with peninsula and four seasons. rooms are adequately sized and very rich in decor. bathroom is nice, though toilet-shower area is a little tight. i was suprised to see towels with broken threads in the bathroom. service is great. stayed here at the same time the new orleans hornets were at the hotel, so i saw a bunch of them around the lobby area. free wireless broadband. great free shoe shine. for the same price though, i do prefer the peninsula hotel across michigan avenue and one block south.

One of the best hotels in Chicago, without a doubt. The lobby is expansive and gorgeous. The rooms are very nicely decorated. Restaurants and service are just what you would expect from this hotel. Everything is A+ here. Probably one of the best hotels in the country.
