    Quite possibly one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in....the amenities are wonderful. All lights are on dimmers, music in bedroom and bath, outdoor temperature displayed on phone.....this is a phenomenal hotel with two great restuarants.

    Loved this hotel. It's beautiful, right down to the art on the walls. Every detail has been tended to. Standard room was quite spacious with a large bedroom area, good sized dressing area where you can lay out suitcases, etc. Large bathroom too, complete with a glass-enclosed shower, tub, sink area and separate vanity area. There is a DVD player in the room. You can borrow a DVD from the concierge, thought the selection is limited. There is a grand tea room in the lobby, an understated indoor bar, an outdoor/terrace bar, and an upscale chinese restaurant in the hotel.

    One of the best hotels in Chicago, if not the best. The peninusla decor is striking to say the least. My favorite part of the hotel is the electronic control panel next to the bed, from which everything can be controlled. The bathrooms are also very elegant and nice. Service is great. Location is pretty decent. A little bit off of Michigan Ave but only a pain if it is realy cold. I will definitely be coming back here again.
