This hotel is no longer in existence - it was closed and is being rennovated to I believe condos. If it remains a hotel it's not a Sheraton. - On Feb. 24, 2004, dwd posted:
This hotel is also environmentally-friendly -- filtered air, no bleach, etc. Very comfortable rooms, many with views of Rittenhouse Square. Blue restaurant is in the front of hotel, but you can't charge to your room (hotel has own restaurant "Potcheen"). - On Feb. 15, 2004, ELG posted:
This hotel is for a younger/trendier crowd. The hotel itself seems a bit old though. The rooms are all different as this used to be an apartment building. Interesting thing though, is that all the rooms are bi-level (not 2 story, but the kind where the entry and bathroom are on one level and then you go down a few stairs to where the bedroom is). the bi-level design makes the room feel more spacious because of the high ceilings. But one weird thing was that there was a huge pillar in my room. Not sure if this was standard, but it made it seem much smaller. Also, the windows were very small so the room felt a bit dark. The lights in the room didn't manage to compensate for this darkness. Bathroom was nice and spacious. - On Feb. 15, 2004, NIE posted:
Location for this hotel is the best in philly. Right in the heart of center city on Rittenhouse square. doesn't get any better. the attached bleu restaurant is pretty hip and trendy, and the food is OK. The lobby is pretty small - doesn't really make much of a statement. The hallways are dark and could definitely be a bit nicer. The rooms were OK, considering the going rate and the location. The gym is pretty small and limited, on the top floor. I also noticed they were playing W-like lobby music. Could have done without that.
