I stayed here during the Dad Vail Regatta which was during Alumni week at many universities in the city. The restaurant The Prime Rib is excellent as was the service and staff there. I got a great deal through campus visit web site and paid $89/night for the room which had two full size bes. The view was crappy and parking was a problem. You had no choice to pay $20 a night for parking an many times we were in at 11pm an up and leaving at 7-8am so it wasn't a good value there. I know when Radisson is finished upgrading the place the look of it will go well with the rest of the higher standards. I expect they'll become a 4 star after the upgrade. You can pay for unternet or use the office center just off the elevators if you just need to print items if your printers on the fritz-there's an all-in-one in the center. - On Feb. 15, 2004, RAE posted:
Room was quite small, and boxy. Same deal with the bathroom. The trimmings looked run-down, not surprising as the hotel is one of the oldest in Philly (built in 1927). It was taken over by Radisson only 2 years ago. Looks like they haven't had a chance to renovate yet. Service is top-notch though. Service is what the Warwick has always been known for, even before it was a Radisson. Location is great, very close to Walnut street where there are some of the best restaurants and night life that Philly has to offer. Not to mention the hotel's own restaurant, Prime Rib, which probably the best (non-chain) steakhouse in town. - On Feb. 15, 2004, GNY posted:
This hotel is all about the service. The rooms are pretty old and crappy, but the service is very good, even for a Radisson. Location is solid, right off of Walnut St but in a very quiet area. The Prime Rib restaurant is really good - one of the best steakhouses in philly. You can usually get a pretty good rate here though, if that's what you're into.
