    The Hilton SF is a decent hotel. There are 4 towers, some have been renovated, some have not. Tower 3 has not been renovated, so ther rooms there are mediocre. Each floor is a maze of hallways - the hotel is huge. The hotel is very close to Union Square and Market Street, in a lively part of downtown. Would stay here again.

    This hotel can be hit or miss depending on which tower your room is in. There is a new tower and a very old tower. Old tower is pretty ratty (it might have been renovated too by now, not sure). The newly renovated tower is very nice though. Location is decent. Not far from Union Square, but the hotel itself is very close to the Tenderloin District (somewhat of a red light district). The immediately surrounding areas are quite safe, but i wouldn't go for long walks around this hotel at night. Parking is about $30/day.

    Solid offering from Hilton here right in the heart of SF. As a gold was upgraded to a larger room, though not a suite. Found the room interior to be quite nice. This hotel is pretty big so I think odds of an updgrade are decent. The servcie was fine - typical Hilton service. You have to ask but they get it done. Rates are good too. Would stay here again.
