The hotel is attached to the train station - pretty decent location, easy subway access as well. The lobby is quite nice - it's huge though not really fancy, but quite nice nonetheless. No internet access in the room. The deluxe size room is pretty good sized with a desk and a small sitting area. Bathroom was quite small and a bit dingy. Could have been nicer or used a good cleaning. The room was a bit musty but OK. The gym in the hotel is large and modern. Good eqeuipment and new flat panel TVs. Lots of cardio, weight machines but hardly any free weights at all. The hotel is definitely a convention-style hotel. Rates are the usual for NYC - around $200/night. I think they mentioned something about a renovation starting now and going through August, with the first rooms ready in April, though I didn't see or hear any renovation activity inside the hotel.
