Hello, I've just spent 4 wonderful nights at the Four Seasons and can say nothing but good things about the staff, decor, and cuisine! They are almost finished with a complete room rennovation, (to be finished Feb 06). Many of the photos taken of this property are not up to date. These are amongst the most comfortable and most elegantly decorated of the Four Seasons hotel rooms I have enjoyed. The service is especially warm, welcoming and competent. Jean, a longtime conceirge at the hotel was able to make several on-point suggestions that I would have otherwise missed in my pursal of the travel guides. On a final note the Fountain restaurant has the most amazing food and delightful staff! Roger was my waiter two nights of my stay. He knew my coffee prefences by the second night and greeted me with sincere warmth by name. He suggested a delightfully appropriate main dish for the fall season, salmon with chestnuts w squash gratin, and a heavenly chocolate praline dessert! The pool is slightly smaller than pictured on the website but I thoroughly enjoyed it after seeing the sights. You will recieve friendly very attentive service in the spa by Sheena. I won't mention the names of the other hotels in town but as a hotel fan I visited all of the 5 star properties and the Four Seasons is a clear standout. Enjoy your trip to Philadelphia!

fantastic hotel - one of the best in philadelphia. location leaves a bit to be desired though - kind of on the edge of downtown area. the hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but is very nice on the inside - typical grandness of a four seasons. indoor pool in the fitness center is great. also the rooms are spacious and very nice, especially the bathroom. service is good as always.
