    Fifteen Beacon has a great reputation for being one of the best hotels in Boston, but i found the rooms a bit stuffy. They use a lot of dark wood paneling and i found that a bit depressing because i like a more airy room. The bathroom was great though - very modern and even high tech with a TV. The room is outfitted with high tech devices also - a nice cd player/stereo system and a cordless phone. Great service - at check in you pick which newspaper you want delivered in the morning, free shoe polish overnight. The hotel also has a fantastic gourmet restaurant attached called The Federalist, known for its expansive wine list.
