Excellent value if you can book using one of the numerous promotions Aladdin offers. As of late October 2005, the "future" Planet Hollywood conversion is continuing at a snail's pace. The only real sign of the pending conversion is the fleet of shuttle vans the property uses, which are now "Planet Hollywood" vans. If you have Starwood Gold or Platinum status, you might be automatically upgraded at check-in, even on a promo rate (as I was). South tower rooms have excellent views of the Bellagio fountains - try for floor 14 or higher. Bathrooms are larger than Bellagio and about the size of Wynn and include a separate water closet. Beds are firm; pillows are new, fresh and full. High speed (wired) internet access is available in-room for $9.95 a day and worked flawlessly. Very easy walks to Monte Carlo, Paris, Bellagio, Ballys. Check-in is located a floor below the casion - no need to negotiate the casino to get to your room after checking in.

I found this hotel to be great! It's not fancy smancy but let's be honest, how much are you in your hotel room when you are on vacation? I loved the location of this hotel because it is in the center part of the strip so it has a great location that makes it easy to walk many places and save on cab fare in the congested lanes of Las Vegas Blvd. Personally, I would choose this hotel over the MGM Grand anyday. (Both of which I have stayed in recently!) I loved the spacious bathroom in my room in The Aladdin. It is large and the toliet is in it's own little room, there is a large stand alone shower (more than enough room for two, lol) and a large tub that is amazing and relaxing after a long flight (also large enough for two to comfortably relax in, lol). The room was a good size, in my opinion, and had everything one would need in a hotel room. Includes a safe, computer, nice size TV, table and chairs with a large window. The hotel also has a nice spa and salon with friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. The Desert Passage mall is great as well, big name shops and some smaller ones too with a large variety for all people. Also if you stay here ot stop by then you have to stop into PF Changs for a meal! Great Chinese food! The restaurant also has some other really good restaurants in the Desert Passage area, including a very nice and quaint feeling Italian restaurant and Cheeseburger in Paradise, with amazing chili cheese fries and huge burgers. Overall, very nice place to stay at a great price!

Aladdin is an OK hotel in a great location. It is right in the middle of the strip, next door to Paris and across the street from Bellagio. The hotel itself is mediocre - not failing in any way but not great either. There are much nicer places to stay on the strip but this place is cost effective and basically good enough. The rooms are finely appointed and well cleaned and taken care of. The bathroom is good size and clean but by no means decadent. Hotel services are efficient and good but not luxurious. The spa and gym at the hotel are very good - what I would expect at a much nicer hotel. There is a dry sauna, wet sauna, and a hot tub in addition to massage treatments. Casino here is good but nothing special. Several good restaurants in the hotel. I would come back here for a boys weekend.
